New Circular Knitting Kit

Here is my new circular knitting kit from my December birthday that I love to show off with all the pretty colors. My goal for this year is to stopping showing it and start using it!

What do you think I should make?

Christmas stockings! Wouldn't that be amazing to have some home knit Christmas stockings?

I hope to also get a circular kit so I can larger projects -- like baby blankets -- in the future. I don't know a lot about them, though, so I may be thinking incorrectly about them.

My brother goes to civil war reenactments and he's learning to knit socks using double-sided needles. I need to add him as an author.

Have you seen this? Since I'm a librarian I have to find books. :-)

I hope the link works for you!

I don't think it's going to work as a link. You'll probably have to copy/paste it. Bummer.

Hey thanks for stopping by! I learned how to knit mittens a couple years ago. A 96 year old lady taught me and I wish I had gotten some pictures of the two of us working on the mittens. She died at almost 100 and they gave me all of her old knitting needles so I have a gazillion of them!! Come on over again soon!

Hi Sarah,

Thanks so much for the comment on my blog. I hope the CVS deals are a help to you!

About SwagBucks: It's a program that you sign up for compliments the Google search engine, as well as Ask.com. I personally don't use it yet- not enough hours in the day to do all I want to do! But from my understanding, you sign up for SwagBucks and through that account, do your internet searches. Each time you search, you earn points. Periodically, you can cash your points in to earn rewards like gift cards. I have heard great reviews of the program!

Hope that helps.
